This is NOT a closed book. We want to choose the best settings for the league. There is no such thing as "not being allowed to adjust." We do adjust for the betterment of the league as a whole.

I agree with above, its been 1 game. Lets use the first season as a testing ground. Keep it for 1 season and decide after that. People just started playing a few days ago, your not going to play like a superstar right away.

...default to you is not the same as default to others. Where's default defined? Where's that rulebook I'm missing?
I kind of like the gameplay. It should be tough to run the ball. 4 yards rushing is a good gain in football. Looking at the boxscores...offense is not struggling as much as I first thought....and it WILL catch up.

Keep it on all-madden. I blame a lot of my passing struggles on Spur's defense is good and the Browns D is really good in this game, coupled with my lack of receiving threats.
Run game is realistic, both of ours got better as the game went on. I had a long drive in the 3rd when his team would've had some stamina loss where I got the bulk of my rushing yards. Less big plays it seems this year but running can still be used as a main offense. Game is definitely favorable to defenses but I don't really see why we need to go to all-pro and have 50-49 games all the time like some of us are good enough to do on offense.

....there is 1 BIG ISSUE tho that most of us didn't factor in just yet because usually it's automatic.
When somebody is playing a CPU game against AM....you can and will lose against the CPU because it's just that damn tough.
I'm going test the sliders against the CPU to see if they do enough in lowering the skill level. If they don't however and it remains too tough, we're gonna have to go to All Pro.
Sure, having the CPU be a challenge is fine by me....but making it way too difficult to beat is NOT AN OPTION we can live with.
On one hand it takes away the mindset of "easy win" and guys loving when somebody has to go AUTO. But on the other, it's not fair.

Has to be all madden for parody of the league. If it is on all pro you will see the elite owners take of and smash the average very badly. I've watched it for years. Not saying the same elite will not win anyway as we know they will but all madden covers for less skilled owners. It brings the teams a lite closer together. The only draw back is all madden displays more of what the ratings mean on the field. All madden negates some if that but it can be adjusted some in the sliders. It is also a hard pull to swallow saying we made this default league with a ton of great madden players but we want to play on all pro and not play on the highest difficulty setting. I'd like to think we have all played so many years of madden that we should be playing to beat the CPU (on sim games) and each other on the highest level.

Uh default is how ea online games are hard set to? There is no interpretation lol

You can use this same phrase for people saying AM is too hard. You seam to be playing fine on AM, so are others. You put in the time. I havent put in any time so ill suck till I do but id still take AM over a easier AP. Games not even a week old. Time will make people better on either setting so might as well make it the toughest one. Just my view.
For sure putting the time in and getting better is great. Some good, solid, dedicated owner though just aren't as good as others.

This is a USER vs USER league....we shouldn't want help from CPU ai to make games closer and bring more parity. Just my opinion tho....I want to feel like I beat the user, not the CPU.
....that sentiment I completely agree with in this game because of the difficulty being raised bigtime.
I honestly think we should revert to All Pro. This game is extremely difficult on all madden. Developers themselves said it would extremely hard. This is unlike Madden 25 all madden. Its like everyone hits the field on Defense and they instantly become 99s, but on offense I see no changes. I don't see recievers catching balls like Randy Moss. Never the less, I experienced a game recently with GA and there were 3 picks that game by Bortles. the first two weren't even user picks which made me upset because CPU made them. The last one was a good pick made by him. These 2 CPU picks were by Brandon Merriwheter, and I shit you not guy leaped for those balls like he was Darrelle Revis. Like cmon man. I feel the same way with his picks too. Defense reacts insanely quick. ESPECIALLY DBs. I would rather take a loss to a human opponent rather than CPU. CPU covers the field 5x better on ALL MADDEN. In our specific game LBs were all over guys crossing the field, I was forced to throw it to the flats at least 75% of the game. Even then DBs would come crashing down to try and make the play.. Like I said, I would rather lose against a human skilled game than CPU probability games.
