McCoy Dealt To Dolphins
Written by chrebet1024
And the Trade Season is off to a bang.
The Philadelphia Eagles have traded their young, stud RB Lesean McCoy to the Miami Dolphins. The pricetag for one of the best talents in the game? A ton.
Philly received RB Lamar Miller, TE Charles Clay and Miami's next two first-round Draft Picks in exchange for McCoy, S Josh Huff and a 2014 second-round pick.
If Lamar Miller can almost fill the shoes of McCoy, then the Eagles are sitting pretty with a future loaded with young talent. MIami on the other hand just mortgaged the future for a stud.
If one player's health is at the upmost importance in the MEFL for the next few seasons, it's now McCoy's.
Cardinals and Chargers Tie?
Written by chrebet1024
There are no ties in Football, right?
Contrary to what Donovan McNabb thought, there are, and we witnessed one of them in our very first week as the Arizona Cardinals and San Diego Chargers tied 34-34.
The Chargers defense limited the Cardinals to only 39 yards rushing on the day, but all that meant was Carson Palmer lit the field up every chance he got. Palmer finished with a QBR of 134.5, 394 yards and 3 TD's. He hit 6 different options on the night and two of them went for over 100 yards (Fitzgerald and Housler).
Much like the Cards, the Bolts also struggled mightily on the ground as RB Mike Goodson could only muster 42 yards on 13 carries.
Overtime saw both teams hit FG's and very little after that.
Chiefs, Charles Impress in Week 1
Written by chrebet1024
Without a doubt, the most impressive team of Week 1 was the Kansas City Chiefs as they steamrolled the Titans by a final of 45-24.
Who said it was tough to run the ball in M15?
Jamaal Charles did it very successfully in Week 1 en route to AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors. His final stat line was 21 carries for 161 yards and 5 TD's.
