The 5-5 New York Jets traveled to Buffalo in Week 12 to take on the co-division leader 6-4 Bills. If the Jets wanted a realistic shot at the AFC East title, they had to go into hostile territory and get this win, and that's exactly what they did.
The Bills having thrashed the Jets through the air in their first meeting a few weeks ago, did not find much success this week. EJ Manuel was picked off 4 times in the game, all from different guys (Pryor, Gumbs, Milliner and Dixon).
The Jets played a conservative, safe offense and leaned on Chris Johnson and Chris Ivory to carry the load as they led most of the game. Johnson finished with 117 yards on 17 carries while Ivory went for 49 and 2 TDs on 7 carries.
The Jets will host the Dolphins next week as they'll look to keep things rolling.
