You have traded away your third player during the trade period. This is over the limit. Guys need to be responsible for their own team without needing the commish to step in and say "you can't do that." Of course a friendly reminder is always fine...but it's not caught all the time.

Well..some can argue you're making out in the deal because you got to execute an extra trade, and your best player gets suspended in a season which is lost at 0-5.
Losing the XP is big though.
Guys gotta make sure they're responsible for their own teams. Don't get it, we've never had anybody go over limit until this season.
The Lions were suspended 4 games when it happened last week. I chalked it up to the new guy making a mistake. Having that warning already there, and you being a veteran, has to be a bigger suspension.

ah.....youve hit on the point....what is the reason for this rule? What are u preventing other than the ability for teams to make theselves better?...sounds more like someone enjoys throwing around their disciplining "power"

What are you kidding me? I would die and go to heaven if somebody wanted to take over commish duties from me.
First off...this wasn't my rule, it was cabbage's. But regardless, breaking a rule is a COMPLETELY different topic than discussing on whether it should be changed.
Tampa, are you in favor of guys breaking rules just because they think they're "weak?" So next time somebody goes for it on 4th down against you when it's against the rules, they can just say they think the rule is "weak," and according to you, it's alllll good.

First off....It's not that bad an idea. Second off...it wasn't my idea.
Also, DUDE of course unrealistic trades are going to happen in Madden, REGARDLESS of the trade cap. Luck to Atlanta is a prime example....don't know why you just brought up two commish trades.
....and don't think Kaepernick getting traded is that far fetched by the way. Yeah he has a huge contract, but in two years it's possible for the 49ers to unload him (matching the exact timeline that happened in MEFL.)
I'm one that actually prefers the 4 on each side limit...giving more flexibility to owners. I don't fight the fact that Madden will always be different than real life.
I will say this though...despite the 2 trade max on both sides..there have been a good amount of trades.
