I know a couple guys were talking about making a fantasy football league for money. Was curious to see how many guys we could get that wanted to join. Also, how much should we all put in.
Feel free to comment on the money, how the league should run, players, draft ect.

i would prob be down depending on the price. prob would want to keep it in the 10.00-15.00 range myself
I will set it up and implement the rules...but someone else will have to be Commish and handle money.
I'll also only do it if we have weekly pots....so around $50 would be the min to get that working.
$50 x 12 guys = $600
1st = $150
2nd = $50
Most Points = $50
17 weekly pots = $20 each
...something like that. Gotta have weekly pots for FF.

Has to be minimum 50... It's all year round. Tony suggested a site league safe or something for money

What is the 20$ a week for? High scorer? So the guy who drafted Peyton last year would have gotten like 180$ for weekly prizes, and be the favorite to win the playoffs?

Tough one I can tell you that you better put a strict commish in charge bc when u talk about playing for money, bad shit happens. You can throw sim out the window. You will get a lot of play to win games and most money leagues I've seen are a free for all in play and you just get lots of lobby players. If you get questionable play in sim leagues with no cash to be won think about what u get when money is on the table. Also it's hard booting a person who paid in. Ya think they won't get mad or put up a fight if they feel they got booted for questionable play? Just some thoughts as I've read I to this years ago and from the money tourneys I've seen it gets pretty ugly.

this isnt about madden, it's about fantasy football. you know....yahoo, espn, nfl, cbs, etc etc.
and yes rafa, i recommend using LeagueSafe. Minicola used that when we did our MXL FFL and all we had to do was send money on LeagueSafe and it was in no one's particular hands during the season. then at the end of the season, the money was paid out accordingly with the approval of everyone that's involved (so not 1 person is handling the $$).

Noooo Titan...we're on our 14th straight year with same guys in my fantasy league. We've done weekly pots every week and the most pots anybody has ever won in a year has been 5 of 17. 4 or 5 is usually the high...it's always spread out to many teams week by week.
...and yes we will absolutely use League Safe...but want somebody else to be commish.
Our Madden league will NEVER have money or prizes involved...EVER.

Scheduling? So are we going to go hard by the rules? Or are we required to text? If it's the 'forum' rule, holding a guy to that rule shouldn't be considered a prick.
CPU games have to be broadcast and same MEFL game play rules apply. If people are caught breaking these rules the penalty should be severe, like beheading or something
