Pittsburgh Steelers announce suspension.

After a game which saw him essentially single-handedly lead the team to victory, MLB Ryan Shazier has been suspended by the team for 1 game due to unspecified violations of team rules. Shazier is coming off of a game in which he had a receiving touchdown, and a forced fumble that led to a game winning touchdown on the recovery against the Chiefs, as well as several big hits. Shazier was in a neck-and-neck race for the Defensive Rookie of the Year Race in the AFC and this stunning development effectively cedes the award to Ravens MLB C.J. Mosley. Shazier ends the year on a strong run of dominant play including 3 pick-6s in clutch situations (including a 100 yard return), 6 interceptions, 69 tackles, and a sack to go with multiple deflections, forced fumbles, and qb hurries. He has clearly been the key in the Steelers' very strong finish after a poor start, but the team will go onward without him. He will return in next year's preseason. Though terms of the violation have not been disclosed it is believed to be related to TMZ photographs showing the young linebacker with what appears to be powder cocaine, china white heroine, and several women who seem to suffer from dwarfism.
