a bit too much for a HB with no potential to improve....same caliber rookie could be had in mid/late rounds of rookie draft.

Yes your right he could wait till the draft but zee might have that need now. Also the bears are top 3/4 teams right now so if I was to bet it would be a very late pick. I think these factors should allow the trade.

I'd say two experienced owners can set a fair value for their own trade.

It amazes me that this would even be worth a discussion. Those not involved never know the reasons why a team does what it does. Many factors that only they would know. Can't get more even and this isn't even a big deal trade. Just getting some youth as my hb ages. Slick gets a good player in 2'nd round that most likely make the team.
