....admittedly the edited trade isn't much of a difference....but we can't have exact round SWAPS go through for different years. It's obvious that the team receiving the earlier picks is getting the better deal (UNLESS the draft slot turns out to be a big difference.)
....once cabbage approves, you're good to go.
Cards Titans trade - APPROVED
Re: Cards Titans trade - APPROVED
accept cards wont be at draft
Declined
To swap exact rounds, for owners that are pretty similar in talent, is clearly not gonna go through as the Cards lose one year all three picks.
Do something to take away from what Titans are getting for this year, or ADD something the Cards way.

....and I do understand where the Cards slot is (2nd to last). ...but still.
He won't be at the draft and the computer will be picking his players, which in all likelyness will get cut. So he loses picks for next year and money just to cut players he won't want. How does that make sense?

...it also doesn't make sense to not "edit" the trade slightly to make it work.
Just Edit It slightly and it'll go through. Because you're both good owners and know what you're doing, I probably would have approved anything OTHER than the exact same draft pick swap. It just calls attention to itself.
If we start allowing guys to make ANY TRADES bc of draft availability, then by your logic, I could trade my 68 overall center for the #1 overall pick just because he's not going to make the draft.
For 2 owners that are VERY similar in skill....how does it make sense to swap the exact same rounds 1 year apart?
The picks THIS year are clearly better than next year bc of time.
...just add a 6th rounder for him....or take the 5th out that you're receiving. Done.
***Do not want guys getting into the habit of swapping exact same rounds one year later bc of draft unavailability. It also sets a precedent.

Ok I'll add a 6th for him for next year.
