SD claims Jets had lack of Diversity

I don't know...I thought I played a pretty good game.

Notes:
--Were the Pats unsim because they threw it 50 times in the Super Bowl?
--Is this an example of guys taking SIM too far, and expecting perfection or something I have no idea what it is?

Jets defense ve Bolts offense:
--The Chargers literally had the deep pass available to them on almost every play for the last three quarters.  I started to adjust the safeties and play them in robber positions and flats and hook to curls.  This helped stop the short pass and helped stop the run.
--He had success on me running early on...but then I felt I adjusted.
--He DID NOT make me adjust after that once.

Bolts defense vs Jets offense:
--I thought I played a pretty good game. 
--The Run/Pass differential was pretty good at halftime.
--The second half is where I really piled up the runs as I held a big lead and I didn't want to tack on more points.
--He's claiming lack of diversity. I feel I pretty much ran almost every type of run in in the book.
--I know him on defense and he likes to run a lot of pass blitzes with zone behind it. So aware of that I made sure I worked the flats against it. I also ran it right at him.
--The way my defense was playing, a 14 point lead in this game was like a 28 point lead in a regular game.

***Chime in and let us know what you think. I could care less if you think I don't play the right way. I just hate the fact that IMMEDIATELY after the game one guy has gotta start going off on another guy out of frustration.

Relax, watch the game again and be sure of your claims. If you still think it after you've done that, then post a complaint on the forum like the rules state.

i havent rewatched the game yet and am posting this from my phone but I challenge anyone to find a nfl game in the last 10 years where 12 passes are attempted. Itll be like finding a needle in a haystack if one even exists.. I will also look at the game again when i get home and outline what my issues were.

this entire comparison is invalid anyway since many more plays are run in an nfl game than in one of our madden games....ratios have to be adjusted

Listen, when somebody is texting me, telling me the game was "lame" and they "checked out" after my second TD, I'm going to bring it to the entire league's attention like rules state.

The rules state to DO NOT text guys complaining. Instead post it.

I already said in chat I should NOT have said "SD is complaining about me" in chat. Already said I shouldn't have done it and apologized for it.

What is your point here? My point is we shouldn't be being little babies immediately after the game texting each other.

I'll definitely give myself a checkmark next to the "Bitch Complaint" mark for bringing it up in chat. It's deserved.

At the same time though, I would like SD to tell me what I did wrong during the game. We're both gonna get one from the commishes if they don't find anything wrong with the game.

lol the at ravens game was when ray lewis still playing and jarett johnson was still a raven:) Also geno smith and 99ovr colin kap are a lil diff but whatever I guess it was a sound strategy cuz it "worked" I dont wanna hear shit when i start throwing 10 times a game lol. Also I want to make it clear I didnt take this into the chat or post a complaint. I txted chre how i felt about the game and I shouldve just kept it too myself. Honestly I shouldve waited for a bit b4 i responded to his gg txt. Obviously when Im frustrated and annoyed is not the best time to respond to the source of that frustration lol. I still think when people play like this its lame and detrimental to the league. where do we draw the line? Is 5 attempted passes in a game too little? 7 ..10? If u played in a game like this how would u feel about ur opponents tactics? lol. but hey I accept its part of the game and i can move one its one game whatever. but no one can tell me I cant call u lame if u attempt 12 passes in a game lol. It was just wasnt fun to play on my end and it wasnt cuz I lost the game.

The commishes will rule...and I'm sure they'll do fine. I definitely deserve punishment for bringing it into Chat.

I would force my opponent to throw the ball. Bring both safeties up and say you ain't doing this crap anymore.

Me and Slick just played a game and he was daring me to throw the ball over the top a ton.

I mean....I don't understand the expectations for a "split" run/pass ratio? Every game is different. Tom Brady just threw the ball 50 times in the Super Bowl bc the run game wasn't working.

I watched the game again and still disagree that I did anything wrong.  How were you upset after my second TD?  I haven't counted, but the ratio probably wasn't bad after my second TD.

Are we supposed to just pass the ball for the sake of it? ...just because we need to pass it as much as we run it?  I don't get that. Why would I do that when you're NOT giving me a reason to?

It takes BOTH owners to have the game be filled with strategy.

In my opinion, people call SIM leagues for the reason of making sure no crap, lobby players are a part. I think what we're discussing is taking the idea way too far.

Don't sweat it SD, there's nothing wrong with discussing it.  It's a GOOD thing to discuss it.  But I think it doesn't accomplish anything by doing it immediately after the game.

I deserve a suspension for bringing the discussion to chat...but I disagree with the accusations and totally disagree with receiving texts like that after the game.

Where the CBs are lined up to the outside like that? Granted it's a video game and there are so many little things we cannot control.

I mean, can't I call you Lobby for throwing out a BASE defense against my 3 WR's on the very first play of the game?  How does the situation factor into that decision?  It's first and 10.

These are just examples. There are so many instances that I can claim "lobby" on your end.  But it's NOT, and we know your NOT a lobby player.

On your first drive you went for a 4th and 1 from my 40.  On that drive you ran the ball 7 times and passes it once. (might have been twice, not positive).  You were having success running it against me...but then I adjusted. That's a huge disparity on one drive....but that's football!!!!

You like to blitz. You like the last second adjustment going from 2 deep to 1 deep or 1 deep to 2 deep..NOT allowing the offense to read the defense and audible. I didn't count it..but in that first half it does look pretty even at the snap of the ball if you had 7 in the box or 8 in the box.  Loading the box a ton came in the 2nd half, and fuck yeah I'm gonna run the ball when I'm controlling the clock, the score and the game.

I knew one of my plays on that first drive was going to be the WR screen because you like those pass blitzes (especially from one edge or the other). It's the only screen I called in the entire game.

Also you have a tendency to pinch your DL and spread your LB out of a 3-4. It's very easy to run of the tackle and inside your edge guy in that setup.

There's just so many different things that we can discuss. I even passed the ball at the end of the 3rd Quarter when I didn't even have to.  At that point I could've passed the ball for a big gain on EVERY PLAY...but instead I ran it to chew up more clock....even calling a ton of ISOs - low percentage runs against the front you were in.

i man aligned i think thats why the cbs went wide i did that cuz u overloaded the strong side so i was guarding against the outside run probably(havent watched just saw the still image in the post) alson base defense vs 3wr set on first is obviously gaurding against the run..its 1st down. If it was 3rd and 10 and I came out in base defense I could kind of see ur point but again alot of that depends on the type of game it is and hows its unfoalding..many variables come into play.
