Browns Defeat Seahawks
Well, the #1 team in the MEFL Preseason Power Rankings got off to a nice start on Sunday.  The Browns defeated the Seahawks 24-22.  After acquiring stud defenders Antonio Cromartie and Clay Matthews in the offseason, their defense is stacked.  To cap it off they drafted QB Craig McEwen in the 1st Round.  The rookie had a descent day with 2 TD's through the air, but where he really made some hay is on the ground, rushing for over 100 yards and a TD.

LB Lawrence Timmons led the Steelers Defense
Steelers Start Strong
Cheed85 got his Steelers off to a strong start in 2014 as they defeated the Cardinals 20-9.  The Pittsburgh defense forced 4 Interceptions by Arizona QB Nick Foles.  LB Lawrence Timmons had one of those picks to go along with 6 solo tackles.

RB Lamar Miller ran wild in Week 1
RB's Miller, Forte Named POW
In Week 1 a couple of RB's were named the Offensive Players of the Week.  Dolphins RB Lamar Miller ran wild for 148 yards and 2 TD's on 24 carries as he helped his team to a win over the Bills.  Bears RB Matt Forte received honors in the NFC as he went for 122 and 2 TD's as the Bears knocked off the Lions 22-21.
