Major playoff implications will occur this Monday night as an old-school AFL West shootout will take place in Oakland.
Shooter's magical Raiders who made a run all the way to the MEFL Bowl last season is now sitting at 8-6, and holding on for dear life to that last AFC playoff spot. Second-year David Carr is have another solid season with 26 TDs and over 2,500 yards.
Meanwhile in San Diego, SD's Chargers absolutely need a victory this week if they want to keep any playoff aspirations alive. Melvin Ingram, who among the lead leaders in sacks with 16, is giddy about the chance to sneak into the tournament.
