Week 3 Top Stories

Cabbage Tops Power Rankings
In the Week 2 Game of the Week, BurntCabbage and the Pats beat chrebet1024 and the Jets 21-20.  The Pats shoot up to #1 overall in the Power Rankings with the win and the loss is more than just a loss for New York.  Vince Wilford was a beast all game long.  In the 1st Quarter, both Geno Smith and Mike Goodson both got hurt for the game.  Geno will miss then next 4 weeks and Goodson is done for the season.  Matt Simms came in to relieve Smith and despite his best efforts fell just a little short.


Giants Move To 2-0
JDawg26 is starting to make a name for himself in the MEFL.  This past week he defended Met Life stadium and beat the Denver Broncos by the score of 37-21.  In the "Manning Bowl," although big brother Peyton had the much better day individually throwing for 3 TD's and 360 yards, little brother Eli took the victory. 


Seattle Dominant
Nthought, the owner of the Seattle Seahawks had a very tough opponent in Deathbyeagle and the 49ers come into Seattle this past Sunday.  The fact that Seattle won the game was not shocking, but instead the margin of victory that stunned everybody.  38-9 was the final score as the 49ers just could not manage to get those TD's while in the Red Zone.  The game was close throughout until the last quarter in which Seattle put up some garbage points off of turnovers.  Clearly the story of the game was the Seahawks defense as they held a talented San Fran offense to only 200 yards.
