Can we take a look at the rules Game regarding restarts? At least discuss.. Even if it means no rule change..
Thank goodness it doesnt happen often. Just my opinion. I dont think a Team that is up by 3+ scores should be forced or even asked to start over 0-0 if the game freezes or something..
We have a group of guys that expect their opponent to actually start over 0-0.. lol.
Dont think there is anything an owner can do to dsiconnect or whatever, but who knows.. I think this rule protects the integrity of the game.
For the record if I am ever down by 3 plus scores, no matter what is decided, Im giving you your points back.

Let's discuss.....I'm gonna play devils advocate. Say we implement a rule in which if somebody is up 3 scores and they automatically get the win?....some cheese ball might take advantage of that and DC themselves knowing they'll get the automatic win being up three scores.
I really like the "compromise" rule that we have now.
The "unknown" of what's going to happen if it goes to the Commish for a decision really keeps everybody on their toes. The DC count and number of times guys have to go to the Commish for a decision also factors into our decision. BC if somebody is having this happen frequently then they're not going to receive favorable results from us.
I'm a little surprised ur opponent didn't give u the win....BC to be honest....most of our guys do give the wins if they're down that much. And I'm a little surprised the Commish didn't give u the decision...but hey not be very decision will be perfect.

Yes.. I see your point. I don't think I should have gotten the win though, because I didn't consider the game over with. In my situation, I was up by 17 points with 1 minute or so going into the half. I wouldn't say the game was over. However not sure I should be asked to start over 0-0 either.. My opponent should have every opportunity to turn things around from where the game disconnected or from where the point total was..
two things here....i was the horrible owner he was referring to...
1. i have never heard of someone conceding the game in the second quarter....and although i was down three scores, i was in scoring position with 2 min or so left in second quarter, so it was about to be two scores and as the second game proved, i certainly wasnt out of the game because of the defecit
2. I would gladly have given the points and recreated if i had been aware of ANY precedent that anyone else in the league had done that before....if everyone else restarts fresh, why should I be different, especially since it was not my disconnect. Fact of the matter is, i said i didnt care, coach had the option to recreate game, and he chose to replay from 0-0. (Probably thinking he was going to win anyway) there was no violent complaining until he lost.

I'm pretty sure the complaining was between you and Burntcabbage. BC asked me to restart so I did, I never said anything about a concede.. As a matter of fact I made a point to say the game wasn't over.. This is not about me and you, its about the rule, that's why I didn't mention your name.. so don't start with the 'I wanted to replay cause I thought I'd win bs" ... If you want to make it about me and you then we can talk with Chrebet about your 2 man under press calling on defense the entire 2nd half.. Another topic of course..
My point is, its fair to try and recreate the game to a point to which each player agrees. 17-0 with your ball on my 35 yard line with a minute to go in the half.. Now I respect Chrebet and BC's decision on this if they decide to keep as is.. And if so, Ill have to get used to it, because its not something I'm used to.. However with that being said, if any owner is up on me by 3 scores or two touchdowns or whatever, I will always offer to give the points back.. Its only fair in my opinion. Don't think I should have the luxury of restarting from being down and having a free scouting report on my opponent..
dont lie on top of things about playcalling...youll just make yourself look worse
and in the future, if someone does run man against you " every play," I suggest something crazy...try a run up the midde or two
You are fishing for things now, And you are making no sense. End of discussion with you. Because you are clueless. I am posting to get direction regarding this rule from the commission (Chrebet and BC) on the best way to handle this in the future for the league.. My only advice for anyone playing you is to record the game. I know I will if God forbid I have to play you again..

The playcalling (whether correct or incorrect on those accusations) is a completely separate issue than the DC.
We are keeping the DC rules the same. They've been working all year long, and will continue to work. Sometimes owners will not be happy with a decision...but it's a small price to pay to keep the "Unknown" factor there.
For the most part (ALMOST ALL TIMES EXCEPT THIS ONE)...this rule has WORKED.
