Here's the scene.
Score is (if I remember correctly) 34-24 Ravens. My defense not doing much vs. his offense.
I score with 3:48 left and 2 timeouts to make the score 34-31.
Now I wanted to onside kick it due to the poor play from my d. I can concede a FG and still be happy. Odds are he'll take less time off the clock.
Should I be able to go for the onside? According to the rules I couldn't - so I didn't.
He went on to bust a long run and the game is history. Regardless, interested to just hear thoughts.

Most nfl teams would not go for it up 3, but I do see what your saying about the strategy. I just think it falls into strategy you don't see in the nfl which may make it unsim to go for it...
Yeah that is plenty of time left....nobody would go onside there.
And don't think your only conceding a FG when onsiding it...u prolly onsiding a much easier TD as well.
