Listen, no matter what you may think the other guy is doing wrong....games cannot be quit (unless some situation comes up that is understandable). Its a shitty thing to waste other guys time.
Play the game, and then address the gameplay issues on the website to raise awareness.
So as we near M15, I wanted to express our views on how we feel about this league right now....
As everybody knows, we started M25 on very shaky ground. It took a while to find the right owners, but we did and we now have them.
M15 will be an absolutely sick year for both leagues as our owners are solidified and more will come (as the 2nd game of re ruiting is huge). Not to mention we have PS3 guys coming back.
Do not be fooled either, MEFL Fantasy will be strong as hell in M15. Fantasy leagues struggle when enormous turnover occurs...and that will not happen...
Being that it is June, we all know some guys slack off. I am just as to blame as anybody (as I took the season off in effort with our new Baseball League).
BUT....the Baseball League is now shutdown and I'm back to help Cabbage.
Everybody's actions with activity and scheduling WILL BE LOOKED AT VERY CAREFULLY when deciding who will fill out the teams for both leagues for M15.
We have a lot of guys WITHOUT teams right now for M15.
Please make a better effort with scheduling...myself included.
So I should have posted this after last weeks game, once u break huddle and if you are on d as soon as o breaks huddle they audible and rush to line then quick snaps. Is that legal?
Shaineo, I am suspending HB Darren McFadden for 2 games due to your roster/depth chart violations. Please remove HB Darren McFadden from your depth chart for your week 8 game vs the Colts and your week 10 game vs the Eagles. You have multiple violations. Please remove the suspended players from depth chart and make all roster/depth chart corrections prior to playing your week 8 game vs. the Colts. The Roster/depth chart violations are as follows:
1.) Under 53 players. Rules state you must carry 53 players at all times. You have 46. You need to sign 7 more players.

1.) Your a short one DT. Rules state you must carry a minimum of three, and you have two.
2.) #4 DT is a MLB. MLB's are not allowed to be on the depth chart at DT per rules.
3.) You have nothing in WR slot #6.
4.) You only have 1 HB (64 0vr) and 1 FB in your four HB slots. You need to have all 4 spots filled (example-HB,HB,HB,FB). Not sure why...
Zee I am suspending HB Jamaal Charles for 1 game due to your roster violations. You need to correct these violations and remove HB Jamaal Charles from your depth chart for your next game. Failure to do so will result in your removal from the league. The violations are as follows:

2.) CB Sanders Commings is in the #2 SS and FS spots respectively. CB's are not allowed in the depth chart at FS or SS per rules.
3.) ROLB Akeem Jordan is at #3 RE. ROLB's cannot...
..just a little reminder...if you QUIT 1 league out of frustration bc you're acting like a 12 year old...then you will be booted out of all the leagues.
This happened with AirikG704 recently as the Steelers. He quit default out of anger and wanted to continue with Fantasy. That's not gonna happen. Once you pull the trigger on that childish act...that's all we need to know about you.
Both BurntCabbage and myself are the commishes of this league. You can and should contact him as well if u have any issues or concerns.
The reason I bring this up now is because our baseball league is getting started and I'm spreading myself pretty thin....so cabbage is going to take a larger role moving forward.
Be on the lookout as we might also transfer Commish duties "in game" to him. If this happens, he will then be your guy to contact for any auto pilot issues and will be the guy to advance weeks.
After the draft I cut MLB Jamar Chaney thinking I didn't need him. Then while scoping out FA I resigned him.
This actually helped me save some money against my cap (didn't save much, maybe 350k or something)......but this is ILLEGAL according to our rules.......you cannot cut a guy and then immediately resign him.
This is an infamous madden trick which saves money against the cap in some situations AMD is specifically banned in our rulebook.

...I don't understand why some guys continuously make the commishes have to check and follow you around like little kids.
Why can't everybody (including some of the "leaders" of the league) follow the rules?

2. Sherman FB at TE (I can understand this one because we recently changed the rule....now only the #3 TE slot can be filled with a FB or LT. You can leave this for our game as I could care less, but...
....we are mid April...where recruiting becomes tough amd football season is far away.

We have only had 1 year of opportunity to recruit guys (M25).....the reason I say this is bc we already have a very strong core with more returning for M15....way ahead of schedule considering only one year of recruitment.
I cannot wait until M15 where we will have another opportunity to recruit guys.
The only way to continue to grow and get stronger is to take advantage of those opportunities....and we will....and its gonna be great to think about...
Remember GreenLegend37 was booted a few weeks ago bc he quit a game? Well that was the right thing to do....BUT I think this guy made a mistake that he sincerely regrets and could become a great owner here.
So he's coming back as either the Steelers or the Ravens.
He has apologized a million times to the Eagles and myself...and had some stuff happen that day which put him over the edge.
It doesn't excuse quitting a game....but I feel another chance is in order.

If a game is in danger of being played...ONLY the weekly matchup threads are looked at when it comes to who goes on auto....or if the game gets simmed.
There are many reasons for this, all explained in the RULES/GUIDELINES.
I liked this guy a lot...he plays a good sim game and seemed like a solid owner.
But he quit a game today around halftime against the Eagles. I asked him why, he responded by saying "I don't feel like taking another loss."
He also responded saying Slick and Zeemen both play with the CB's UP to the line every play. So he doesn't understand why they're still in the league.
Bottom line is this...if you quit a game...you will be gone from all of the Elite Leagues IMMEDIATELY. There is NO call for wasting people's time. REGARDLESS OF...
....Bigtuck you've been a good member of the league and love ya....but a suspension is a must in this situation....
When it is possible to kneel out the test of the clock...u gotta do it. Scoring uncesdary points is a no-no in this league.
Please sit QB Brock Osweiler for 1 game....put him 3rd on your depth chart.
A minute left against the Bengals....up 7....1st down and the Bengals only have 1 timeout left.....the clock can be killed by kneeling....instead...a TD was scored.
If all the facts are correct ...please accept the suspension....if u dispute...
TCMagic has a ton going on right now...so he's gonna stick with Fantasy only. 2 teams is a lot to handle sometimes with 3 advances a week.
So enter Str8Coach (or Athlete_2) as most know him by. Great addition to the league. GreenLegend37 is up next on the list....who will also be another great addition.
Not sure if Athlete will play with the Giants (being a Boys fan)...but I'm gonna try. Regardless, something will be worked out to get him in.
Because of the "Invite Issue," we will skip tonight's advance. Tuesday night (like normal) will be our next advance...OR as soon as all the games are played.
***This happened in the Fantasy league...but bc of it we will adjust the guidelines in this league too. It DOESN'T effect anybody bc nobody has a FB starting in TE spot right now.
Today G_A_CERTIFIED brought up a great point about the FB / TE depth chart guidelines.
We CAN interchange FB's and TE's on our depth chart. Those 2 positions are very similar. A lot of NFL team's don't even have a FB on their roster. TE's play in the backfield all the time. Now as far as FB playing TE.....nah it doesn't really happen much (yes a FB does slide up sometimes to play a "Wing" position)...
YOU MUST MATCH PERSONNEL. A Nickel against 3 WR's, a Dime/Quarter against 4/5 WR's and Base against 2 WR's.
The reason it's not SET IN STONE is because THERE ARE instances in which the DEFENSE DOESN'T have to match personnel....BUT those instances should be VERY RARE.

Weso, your team has been hit with a 2 player, 2 game suspension. This is in response to your rule violation of manually moving multiple players pre-snap. You are only allowed to manually move one player pre-snap and you must control him till the ball is snapped. Any further violations will result in additional penalty's up to being removed from the league permanently.
As we discussed and you already agreed, please remove CB Lardarius Webb and HB Ray Rice from your depth chart for the next 2 games.

This league does NOT have any Yards restrictions when playing the CPU. The reason is because it is STUPID. The reason is because EACH CASE IS DIFFERENT. Each CPU game is different. Why should a less talented player have a yardage cap if they're struggling to beat a CPU team 27-20?
Yes we do have mention to never get to 50 points against the CPU, but that is NOT THE MAIN THING WE LOOK AT WHEN LOOKING AT THESE GAMES.
If a game is a blowout...there should be NO QUESTION AS TO YOUR STATS. It shouldn't be EVEN...
We're thinking about making an change to our advance schedule. Instead of 3 days...going to a SET schedule that will allow us to play more games...and will be a lot easier on everybody to remember the advance nights. And will br easier for me to so it out news and highlights for the league...doing all the extra website stuff will be a ton easier for me.

...this way friday and sat night are still open for the wife and kiddies.
