Giants Reports 

Great game that went into overtime. Either scored on first pos then I got a nice drive with a few passes and broke one for the win.

Offense:

Running: Did a nice job when he ran. 4.3 yards a carry. Used both middle and outside runs. Dives, strecthes. DIdnt run the QB. No wr run plays. Str line runner. Gets the ball and goes to the area, no shake and bake moves.

Passing: Likes to use his WRs the most. Will target Patterson as his top guy but will mix in Cruz for sure. Look for Deep out routes mostly to the outsides. Will also see spot routes and posts to these two...

Offense: had his way with me. 136 rushing, 324 passing. 3 INT's by E. Manning kept me in this game. Ran inside and out. On 3rd and 10(+or - a couple yards) Will cross and slant when he thinks it's man and curl slot, 10 yard out outside WR's on zones.

Defense: had 8 guys in the box a lot trying to force me to throw. Preferred man coverage to zone. Would play the man 6 man blitzes of man robbers and thieves. Effective at getting pressure.

Connection: very good.

Offense - really struggled on offense running the ball. Attempted to run inbetween and outside the tackles. Mostly ran out of 2 back sets. Passing games seemed a little better than the run. Passed out out 3 and 4 wr sets running mostly crossing routes but also so slants and comebacks. He did throw 2 Ints.

Defense - not aggressive with blitzing but was able to get to the QB a couple times. Mostly ran zone and was really good covering the deep balls. Was able to lock in defensively on Dez in the 2nd half and slow him down a bit. There were some holes in his zone and I was able...

Falcons 35 - Giants 21

Offense: I believe he has a run first mentality on offense - runs out of single back set . He runs between and off tackle both - not big on toss. Took a few shots down the field but mainly stuck to short/medium pass plays. Pretty much used the whole tree with his routes.

Defense: Solid run defense - I had appx 24 run with a little over 50 yards. Pass defense if youare patient and pick your spots youcan take shots deep - he will man up and blitz. He plays alot of zone when not blitzing.

Special Teams - he had a muffed punt.

Offense- Run first offense spearheaded by Jennings, will run between the tackles but seems to prefer bouncing it outside when possible. That run style lends itself to making some stops in the backfield if your dline can get penetration. Not afraid to go through the air for change of pace and long yardage downs. Overall fairly conservative this gm but thats likely due to the lead he built.


Defense- Majority of plays on D seem to come from zone looks with some well timed blitzs mixed in. Attacking the zone in the middle of the field yielded best results. Running the ball also seems...
