Can Anybody Stop The Eagles?
Sitting at 5-1 with a net point total of 92, the Eagles sit in the #1 spot in the Power Rankings for the 2nd consecutive week. SL1CKS1LVERMAN has this Philly offense 2nd in the NFL in points per game at just over 38 a game, and 4th in total offense. The latest team to fall victim to the hot Ealges was the Tampa Bay Bucs. The final score was 48-24 in a game that was never in doubt. In an incredible rushing performance, the Eagles only threw for 48 yards and rushed for 298. Michael Vick led the way on the ground, in their "Spread" type offense, with 129 yards and 3 TD's on 9 carries. The question everybody will have for the Eagles come playoff time will be this....Can they adjust to good defensive teams when they shut down that rushing attack? and can the play enough defense to think Championship?
Dolphins Attack
The previously mentioned Eagles are 2nd in points per game so far in the NFL.....the team that is 1st is none other than the Miami Dolphins, let by rookie owner ClaxTKE at just over 39 points per game. Since he took over a few weeks back, Ryan Tannehill has been a monster. In their past 2 games they have scored 59 and 28 points respectively. Tannehill currently leads the NFL in QBR and passing TD's with 19, and is 2nd in passing yards with 1,728, only trailing Peyton Manning. Can he and the Fins keep it rolling vs thegoof and the Bills in Miami this Sunday?
Pats In Trouble?
After starting the season 4-0 and being #1 in the Power Rankings for 3 weeks straight, the Foxboro gang has dropped their last 2 and need a win in the worst way. Their first defeat came at the hands of cea2323 and the Bengals and last week they followed it up with a loss vs SpurDaddy_24 and the Saints. They travel to New Jersey this Sunday to face their ultimate rivals in the Jets this week. Will they get it turned around?
